Part 2 will follow on the non-field trip day.

Have your note packet.  Review your terms for bullfighting.  We have another day of film and a practice then we will have a discussion/debate and a quiz.

¡¡Hola, estudiantes!!

In class today, we reviewed the verb conocer, for pronunciation, the meanings and its forms.  The yo form is the irregular one.  Take a look:

Yo   conozco        nosotros/nosotras    conocemos
tú   conoces                      vosotros/vosotras    conocéis
Ud.                                   Ustedes
él     conoce                      ellos                      conocen
ella                                    ellas

We reviewed the Personal A as well.....

¿A quién quieres conocer?  ¡Yo quiero conocer a Justin Bieber!

Homework:  finish the worksheets (3 remaining sides...)
tomorrow we will have the evens on pg. 164-165 due on Thursday.

Exam 2.3 Friday

Beginning (6)--------

We formed teams for a tournament of Chapter 2 knowledge.
We will be beginning the Chapter 2 story...El Cuento Grande....

If your student is in the boys' class 6th hour, ONLY this class we are giving the "quesadilla café" (a dry run to see if it is a workable activity) a week from Friday...April 19 th.  Your student may be asking for some supplies or a food item to contribute to the cultural experience: contributions are voluntary. Please do not feel that you have to contribute; we discussed other ways to contribute to the class on the 19th (for example a student can be on the group that cleans up.)
If all goes well, we may try this in May for the other groups.  Stay tuned!!!

Hasta Luego,
