We have been discussing our likes and dislikes about sports.  We saw a film clip on the game Jai-alai yesterday. We also reviewed comparisons and added the even ones.  We are learning to say what we think about things using the phrase:
                           

Pensar(e>ie) = to think 

pienso      pensamos
piensas     pensáis
piensa      piensan 
                          so..........


                                 "Pienso que......"
                                    I think that....

Yo pienso que jai-alai es rápido y peligroso. (dangerous)

In class we practiced stem changing verbs, especially jugar.(p. 204 En Español )

Oprah es tan famosa como Ellen.


Tarea:  read pp. 212-213 Beisbol article and do the questions on p. 213 in complete sentences.
Also comparisons worksheet.

6th beginning

Today:  Bullfighting unit  wrap up before  the quiz next week.(Monday boys /Tuesday girls)..also begin to learn Cultivo Una Rosa Blanca poem.
