Tener= to have
memorize the order, spelling and meaning
all six forms on pp.78

III. Ownership/ possession

a. use "de" because there's NO apostrophe in Spanish!!
examples:  marco's restaurant= el restaurante de Marco

b. Use the possessive adjectives.....

a. mi, mis                   d. nuestro (a) (s)
b. tu, tus                      e. vuestro (a) (s)
c. su, sus                      f. su, sus

c. his, her or your (formal)
d. our
e. your (belonging to you guys)
f. their, your (belonging to Ustedes)

the thing owned is the first consideration for choosing the proper
adjective.
my shoes....
shoes ( a plural word!)--- mis zapatos
their clothing (ropa)---  su ropa
her parents--sus padres
